CURTISS-WRIGHT ANNOUNCES DAVID LASKY RETIRES FROM BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ROSELAND, N.J., Feb. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Board of Directors of Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) today announced that David Lasky, 73, will retire as a board member of the company when his term expires at the Corporation's annual meeting on May 5, 2006, after 13 years of service. Mr. Lasky was the former Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Curtiss-Wright where he was employed for 38 years.
Mr. Lasky was elected to the positions of Director and President (Chief Executive Officer) of Curtiss-Wright in May of 1993. He assumed the additional position of Chairman of the Board in May of 1995. Prior to election as President of Curtiss-Wright, Mr. Lasky was a career member of its law department, starting as a staff attorney and assistant to the General Counsel in February of 1962. He was designated as General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer in 1967, and was elected to additional positions of Vice President in 1972 and Senior Vice President in 1980.
