CURTISS-WRIGHT FACILITY FEATURED ON THE HISTORY CHANNEL

August 10, 2007

ROSELAND, N.J., Aug. 10 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) announced today that its Houston-based oil and gas business TapcoEnpro International (TEI) is featured in a documentary to be aired on The History Channel Saturday, August 11th, at 9:00am EDT. The segment is titled "Mega Movers Giant Oil Equipment." TEI is part of Curtiss- Wright's Flow Control segment.

The History Channel documentary follows the movement of a new FCCU from fabrication in Channelview, Texas to a St. Paul refinery. TEI fabricated the 475,000 pound reactor over the course of 12 months. The documentary records the movement of the FCCU from our fabrication facility in Channelview, Texas through the Port of Houston Terminal where it is loaded on a deck barge and shipped to the St. Paul refinery. After 30 days on the water, the reactor is rolled off the barge and moved to the refinery where it is prepared for installation. The History Channel chronicles all the events necessary to move this large reactor vessel over 2,400 miles from Texas to Minnesota.

"We are very proud of the accomplishments of our TapcoEnpro facility," said Martin R. Benante, Chairman and CEO of Curtiss-Wright. "The engineering expertise and dedication of all of its employees enabled this remarkable feat to occur. This ingenuity is representative of our legacy of innovation and engineering excellence."
