CURTISS-WRIGHT APPOINTS MICHAEL J. DENTON VICE PRESIDENT

LYNDHURST, N.J., Nov. 25 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW; CW.B) announced today that Michael J. Denton, 47, has been promoted to Vice President. Mr. Denton will continue to serve as the General Counsel and Corporate Secretary of the Company, positions he has occupied since he joined Curtiss-Wright in August 2001.

Prior to joining Curtiss-Wright, Mr. Denton served in a number of positions with the Law Department of Honeywell International Inc. He also worked in the law departments of the General Electric Company and Westinghouse Electric Corporation, in private practice in Washington, DC and with the U. S. Department of Justice.

Mr. Denton earned his Bachelor's degree from Dartmouth College and his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Michigan. Mike and his wife, Mary Ann, reside in Morristown, New Jersey with their three children.
