CURTISS-WRIGHT RANKS 76TH IN BUSINESSWEEK'S TOP 100 HOT GROWTH COMPANIES

LYNDHURST, N.J., Jun 11, 2002 /PRNewswire-FirstCall via COMTEX/ -- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW; CW.B) has been named by BusinessWeek as one of its top 100 growth companies. Curtiss-Wright ranked number 76 on the list, which was published in the magazine's June 10, 2002 edition. BusinessWeek selected Curtiss-Wright from more than 10,000 public companies based on sales growth, earnings growth, and return on capital for the last three years. Banks, insurance companies, real estate firms and utilities were excluded from the pool of candidates.
