Thirty-Year Aerospace/Defense Industry Veteran to Serve on Audit & Finance Committees

ROSELAND, N.J., June 30 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- The Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW, CW.B), a diversified global provider of highly engineered products and services to the motion control, flow control and metal treatment industries, announced today that Carl. G Miller, a thirty-year veteran of the aerospace and defense industry, has been elected to serve on its Board of Directors and as a member of its audit and finance committees.

Mr. Miller, 60, joins Curtiss-Wright following his retirement from TRW where he served as Corporate Controller starting in 1990. He was promoted to the position of Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, a position he held from 1996 - 2001. Previously, he held numerous financial management positions for companies including General Dynamics and Mallinckrodt Chemical. A Certified Public Accountant, he also worked with the public accounting firms of Main Lafrentz & Co. and Ahrens & McKeon. Mr. Miller earned his B.S. in Commerce from St. Louis University.
