CURTISS-WRIGHT NAMES DR. ALLEN A. KOZINSKI TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

ROSELAND, N.J., Feb. 6 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Curtiss-Wright Corporation (NYSE: CW) announced today that Dr. Allen A. Kozinski has been named to its Board of Directors. During his career, Dr. Kozinski has held senior management positions for British Petroleum, Amoco and Quaker Oats.

"Allen has a wealth of operational expertise as well as a highly technical background in chemical and process engineering which will be of great benefit to the Curtiss-Wright Board of Directors," commented Martin R. Dr. Kozinski began his career with Standard Oil of Indiana as a research engineer. After completing his doctorate in chemical engineering at the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 1971, he became an assistant professor at the University of Illinois Urbana. He resumed his corporate career in 1974 with Quaker Oats in process development, followed by senior management positions at Amoco and British Petroleum which encompassed technology development international expansion and refining operations. In the last role, he led BP's world wide refining business.

Dr. Kozinski currently resides in Incline Village, Nevada. In addition to a PhD. in chemical engineering from the University of Wisconsin, he holds a masters degree in chemical engineering from the University of California- Berkeley, Berkeley, CA, and a bachelor degree in chemical engineering from the University of Illinois, Champaign-Urbana, IL.
